19 December 2017 Dade Native Plant Workshop Meeting

December is our annual Holiday Party. Feel free to bring a dish or beverage. I am bringing cookies and mint tea. Feel free to leave a comment below on what you plan to bring!

Topic for study are the genera Ilex (Hollies) and Poinsettia (now in the giant genus Euphorbia). Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s recent Connect To Protect Letter has a nice article on native Hollies and Poinsettias (and a few other festive natives) with pics and descriptions. Click here to see. Please bring in at least 3 plants, which needn’t necessarily cover the topic.

The Native Plant Workshop is FREE. Meeting time has been changed to 5:00PM, but is still the third Tuesday of each and every month. We convene at the Miami Dade College Kendall Campus’s Landscape Technology Nursery in the northwest corner of the campus. Please park inside of the gate.
